Get Full Bars On Your IPhone 4 By Putting It In An IPhone 4 Case.
There have been thousands of reports and articles from iPhone 4 owners about the iPhone 4 and the signal issues they are experiencing. The common issues that everyone is talking, writing and blogging about is the complete loss of cell services and data on the iPhone 4.
All things seem to lead to the way you hold your iPhone. The iPhone 4 antenna problem. While it sounds absolutely ridiculous for such an amazing device, unfortunately it is true.I am constantly using my iPhone 4, and not just for 20 minutes a day - I use it for all of my daily communication. The problem shows itself when you hold the iPhone 4 in a specific way, unfortunately, this "specific" way seems to be the most natrual way to hold the iPhone - or any phone for that matter. The signal strength goes from full signal right down to just one single bar, or worse, no signal at all with the searching message and a dropped call as your end result.
Apple has been slow to address this issue, stating only that holding it in this way will show a drop in your signal, and that the signal bar issues will be fixed in an upcoming software update, and have to do with the signal strength not actually being correct. The only word from Apple is not to hold the iPhone that way, and this is supposed to be the only reason for the dropped bars and dropped calls people are expriencing.
There is a quick fix out there for this issue, and it has to do with having an iPhone 4 case on your iPhone. With a case on your iPhone 4 you won't experience any of the dropped calls or antenna issues no matter how you're holding your phone. It is yet another indication that there is in fact something very wrong with the internal design of the iPhone 4 itself. To be honest with you I have always been a very firm believer in protecting any gadget I have, including my iPhone 4 by putting it in a case. It's an expensive investment, and spending $10.00 - $20.00 on a good looking, and more important - a protective case just seems like good old common sense to me.I certainly don't want scratches or scuffs on my iPhone 4, but that doesn't take away from the problem I have with this whole signal issue going on with a brand new phone.
Gizmodo has reported in a new post earlier today that the Apple may very well be doing a "silent recall" if you will, for some iPhone 4 customers. When they get a replacement iPhone 4, and the signal drops and receiption issues don't seem to be there in the new iPhone 4 they are receiving.Apple themselves have not publicly stated that there is any type of recall going on, and as such we have to treat this talk of a silent recall as nothing more than a rumor. But a good number of customers have noticed that the signal loss issue has all buy dissappeared on their swapped out iPhone 4. While others continue to have a problem, unless of course, they put their iPhone 4 back in an iPhone case again.
