How To Rescue A Mobile Phone If It Gets Wet
If your mobile phone gets wet it can be a really big problem; this would be even worse if you happen to have a new iPhone. One way that mobile phones quite often end up getting wet is when they are accidentally dropped down the toilet. However you can try to save your phone if this happens to you by following the tips below. There is no guarantee that any of these will work but it worth trying if it can save the phone.
- The first thing you need to do is to remove the battery. By taking away the source of power you can try to avoid a short circuit from happening which can often occur because of the fact that water is a conductor of electricity.
- Another thing that should be removed very quickly is the SIM card especially if you want to save the contents on it. The only safe way to dry the card is with a dry towel. Sometimes the data will be irretrievable and sometimes you have to take the SIM card to a data retriever expert.
- Shake your phone to try to get as much of the water out as you can. It is better if you can get rid of as much of the water as you can. You might also want to use absorbable paper towels to take off more of the water.
- You could dry your phone off by placing it outside on a warm day but make sure that you don't place it in direct sunlight. This will hopefully ensure that you get most of the moisture out of the phone. But this won't work on cold or wet days so it is not something that you are going to be able to do in the dead of winter.
- Sometimes it can take a few weeks for your phone to dry out and a lot of times there will be just too much damage done for the phone to ever work again.
Blackberry storm 2 leather case is used by many people today. Often times they can be seen used with certain applications using SD cards. 32GB USB is important in the context of these products as well.
