Introducing The Samsung Eternity 2
The Samsung Eternity 2, the newest addition to the well-known and loved line of Samsung phones, was released into the market on August 15, 2010. Released by AT&T, the Samsung Eternity 2 has caught the eyes of several consumers and tech reviews everywhere because of its excellent features, as well as being the sequel to the original Eternity. The Eternity doesnt only have great features, it also has many varied Samsung Eternity 2 accessories available to accentuate its design and features.
Display & Screen Protection
While the Eternity may not be the biggest touchscreens, it has one great display, and one of the clearest ones too. The device itself is only 2.11-inches wide by 4.41-inches tall by 0.5-inches thick so it only has a touchscreen size of 3-inches diagonal. However, it does sport a resolution better than most other phones with 3-inch display sizes and at 240 pixels by 400 pixels and a virtual QWERTY keyboard that is not too smashed together, it is more than decent enough.
For a touchscreen such as this, a user might want to buy one of the many available Samsung Eternity 2 screen protectors. One in particular, are the Skinomi TechSkins, made of excellent quality and construction. This is one of the Samsung Eternity 2 screen protectors that does not skimp on protection. Skinomi makes this protector from military graded plastics, specifically cuts it to fit the phone and makes it easy to apply to the device.
TouchWiz
Another great feature of the Samsung Eternity 2 includes the TouchWiz interface of which is Samsung’s own. The UI features a right-hand side collapsible bar that is customizable to hold many icons. The user can move the icon of their choice to the main screen area where it then allows that user to reach its main features using a simple touch of the finger. Also included with the UI is the ability to change the vibrating feedback which activates every time the device registers a touch. Additionally, a built-in mute function silences the ringer if the phone is face down.
Camera
Another of the great features of the Samsung Eternity 2 includes its camera and while Samsung did downgrade the camera as compared to its predecessor, the 2-megapixel camera included with this device is more an able. With three modes to shoot photos including mosaic, continuous and panoramic, fun frames for editing, exposure settings and other color and brightness settings, the Samsung Eternity 2’s photos are of an amazing quality for a camera so very small.
Most people understand that a mobile device this good deserves the best protection, which is why choosing one of the many varied Samsung Eternity 2 cases available is a good idea. One great way to keep the Eternity 2 secured and protected is with a leather pouch carrying case. They come in either a horizontal or a vertical design made from real leather with a snap closure. Another great Samsung Eternity 2 cases includes rubberized hard cases. This not only holds the phone inside, but can keep your phone safe if you accidently drop it or hit it against something.
